Mike Seamon
Director of Liturgical Music / Choir Director
Hello friends and welcome to Newman! My name is Mike Seamon. I am currently in my final year as a Music Education major and have the sincere pleasure of serving as the Liturgical Music Director here at Newman. I’m from Hazle Township, PA (in the Poconos) and have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Newman community from the very moment I began my time here at WCU! It gives me so much joy to provide music at our Sunday Masses week after week and give all glory to God through song. I was also a member of a number of ensembles on campus, including the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band and Steel Drum Ensemble. Some of the many things I enjoy doing is spending quality time with my families and friends, praising the Lord with other fellow Catholics at Newman, playing guitar and a bunch of other instruments, making music with Fr. Tom, and writing my own music. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email or chat with me if you’re ever around Newman! God bless!
